Biological Lab Manager
Dr. Avivi-Mintz is a research associate and lab manager at the Optical Imaging and Biosensing Laboratory in the Faculty of Engineering at Bar Ilan University, Israel. In 2010, Dr. Avivi received her B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Bar-Ilan University (summa cum laude). In 2013, she received her M.Sc. degrees in Biotechnology and Financial Mathematics from Bar Ilan University. In 2017, she completed her Ph.D. studies in molecular and cell biology at the Institute for Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials at Bar Ilan University under the supervision of Prof. Yaron Shav-Tal. Her research included visualization and characterization of nuclear RNA interference (RNAi) activity in single living human cell and was published in a high ranked journal. Currently, Dr. Avivi-Mintz works as a lab manager and research associate under the supervision of Dr. Amos Danielli in the Faculty of Engineering at Bar Ilan University. Her research focuses on the development of quantitative serological assays to detect antiviral immune response components for dengue, Zika, and severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2), at very low concentrations in whole blood samples using fluorescent-labeled probes.
