Guye Halpern

Guye Halpern is a Ph.D. student at the Engineering Faculty of Bar-Ilan University, Israel. In 2019, he received his B.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences from Tel-Aviv University, Israel.  In 2021, he completed his M.Sc. in Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University, Israel. In 2022 he received his Executive MBA in Healthcare Innovation from the Arison School of Business, Reichman University. In parallel to his academic work, Mr. Halpern served in several executive positions in the biomedical industry, including his last position as the vice president of products & clinical research at Inovytec Medical Solutions Ltd. Since 2023, Mr. Halpern conducts his research in the Optical Imaging and Biosensing Laboratory in the Faculty of Engineering and The Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, under the supervision of Prof. Amos Danielli. His current research is focused on the development of quantitative assays that will enable the detection of biomarkers in low concentrations using fluorescent-labeled probes.
