Mor Shabtay Segev

Mor Shabtay-Segev is a Ph.D. student in the Faculty of Engineering at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. She completed her B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology through Bar-Ilan University’s prestigious “Psagot” integrated excellence program (2023–2024).

Since October 2025, Mrs. Shabtay-Segev has been conducting her research in the Optical Imaging and Biosensing Laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering and the Institute of Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials, under the supervision of Prof. Amos Danielli. Her work focuses on developing a quantitative assay for early cancer detection using an optical modulation biosensing system.
