Dr. Linoy Golani-Zaidie, PhD

Biological Lab Manager

Dr. Linoy Golani-Zaidie is a research associate and lab manager at the Optical Imaging and Biosensing Laboratory in the Faculty of Engineering at Bar Ilan University, Israel. In 2016, Dr. Golani-Zaidie received her B.Sc. degree in Biotechnology from Bar-Ilan University (laude). In 2017, she received her M.Sc. degrees in Biotechnology from Bar Ilan University (laude), under the supervision of Dr. Orit Shaul. In 2022, she completed her Ph.D. studies in virology and neuroscience at Bar Ilan University under the supervision of Prof. Ron Goldstein. Her research included generation of human sensory neurons derived from embryonic stem cells as an in-vitro model for Varicella zoster virus infection. Currently, Dr. Golani-Zaidie works as a lab manager and research associate under the supervision of Prof. Amos Danielli in the Faculty of Engineering at Bar Ilan University. Her research focuses on the development of quantitative assay that will enable to detect a biomarker of heart disorders, Troponin, at very low concentrations in whole blood samples using fluorescent-labeled probes.
